Personally I’ve been contemplating adding some more filtration and I’m not sure what the best way is to accomplish that.  I have an easy way to get the water from my pond to another pump but no easy way to get it back.  I may end up digging a trench to run a pipe to one of the those new cool Helix moving bed waterfalls, but I’m worried about ensuring all the water makes it into the pond, so I don’t end up draining it accidentally.  I’ve also been fondly thinking about adding a Zakki sieves because they work in a pressurized system (which I have and I can’t use anything gravity fed).  I also have to consider the expense (and inevitable conversation with my wife) about the extra electricity that will be required.  Then again, maybe this would be a good time to put in the bog I’ve been thinking about, so I can grow lilies without having to worry about the turtle or fish eating or digging it up...
